Bruce
Jay was born and raised in the Community of Los Feliz. From
attending
Happy Land Nursery School
to Franklin Avenue Elementary
School,
and on to Thomas Starr King Middle School to the
world-renowned
John
Marshall High School, Bruce Jay has supported and maintained
friendships
along
the way. Further, Bruce
is a Benefactor and Life Member
of
the John Marshall High School Alumni
Association.
Earning
an Associates of Arts Degree, and additionally being awarded the
prestigious
Music Honors Award,
and being congratulated by Former Mayor
Tom
Bradley, from Los Angeles City College,
Bruce
further pursued his
education
at the University of California at Los
Angeles.
Achieving
his Bachelor of Arts Degree in the field of Psychology from
U.C.L.A.,
Bruce had worked with
children and adolescents at the Los
Angeles
County Psychiatric Hospital and also volunteered
his
efforts with
the
Los Angeles County Probation Department, working with children at
Camp
Gonzales
in Malibu Canyon.
From
Psychology to Music, Bruce had helped many in the long road that led
to
Real Estate. And
Bruce
maintained his support of U.C.L.A. as he is a Life
Member
of the Alumni Association as well
as
a U.C.L.A. Alumni Band
Member.
In
the Real Estate Community, Bruce Jay continued his efforts to
improve
the
field by being on the MLS
Committee in the first meetings 30 years ago
to
establish Computer Programming as a method
to
process Multiple Listing
Information.
Further,
Bruce Jay was honored by the California Association of
Realtors
with
the Exclusive Professional
G.R.I.
Real Estate Designation(Graduate of
the
Realtors Institute), which is recognized
from
the East Coast to the West
Coast
covering Finance, Property Management and Residential
Real Estate.

Designation

of study prepared by the California

of Realtors, and the

close of 100’s of transactions (however Bruce has closed

transactions). The
honored designation, C.R.S.,

of all licensed Real
Estate Agents Nationwide.
Bruce
Jay served as the Vice-President of the Los Feliz Broker’s
Association,
and
additionally served as
the Vice-President of the Los Feliz Towers HOA,
a
196 Unit High-Rise Condominium Complex.
Further,
for almost 10 years
Bruce
Jay has served as the President of the Los Feliz Estates
Owners
Association.
And as a sideline, Bruce is an amateur Magician being a Life
Member
of the Academy
of
Magical Arts (The Magic Castle).
Bruce
Jay honors his Community as it is his home and the home of his
family.
With three children, currently
one at Franklin Avenue Elementary
School
and one at John Marshall High School,
Bruce
holds a special place in
his
